About Me
Hi, I am Abhinav R., and I live in the southern Indian state of Kerala.
As a nature photographer, I like photographing everything natural. However, birds and their wonderful world are something special. Also, the majestic Sahyadri - western ghats - with its rich green landscapes have always inspired me.
I started this website named ‘PhotoValiant’ in 2015 as a way to display the photos. Before that, I had a blogspot-powered blog named 'rhythmofnature'. I no longer hold that domain name. But I still have all the posts backed up, as fond memories.

Reading has helped me a lot as a self-taught photographer. It would have been very difficult without all those amazing articles and the people who wrote it on the web. So that is the motivation for me also to write the things I learn on my blog.
A small Canon Powershot was my first digital camera. Now the Nikon D7100 is the main camera along with the Nikkor 200-500mm, Micro-Nikkor 105mm, 16-85mm and Tokina 11-16mm lenses.
Photography is more of a passion than a profession for me. I was a web developer.
